Soar through the forests and explore the wilds of the Green Mountains of Vermont as you ride up to 4,500 feet of zip lines, cross sky bridges high above the forest floor, and rappel from trees. Nestled in a scenic valley below Smugglers Notch and following an ever-babbling mountain stream, the zip line canopy tour provides access to reaches of the forest canopy and views of the area otherwise not available to hikers and explorers. Designed to educate, entertain and inspire, small groups are escorted by 2 experienced canopy tour zip line canopy tour guides familiar with the local ecology and natural history and prepared to provide safety instruction, coaching, and entertainment. While the long zip lines and stunning views are certain to thrill even the most experienced outdoor enthusiast, the tour is built with a progression aimed to prepare and delight first-time zip liners.
Three variations of the zip line canopy tour are available depending on the time of year. All three tours meet at the ArborTrek Welcome Center at 1239 Edwards Rd, just 0.6 miles north of Smugglers’ Notch Resort Village. Please click the Book Now buttons below to check tour availabiltiy.

- Tour time is estimated based on a group of six to eight people. The actual tour might take more time or significantly less depending on the size of the group, experience of members of the group, and interest of group members in the local ecology and natural history.
- Smugglers' Notch guests, owners, and pass holders are eligible for discounts on the tour. To receive the discount, guests must show proof of stay, pass, or ownership at time of check-in. Failure to show proof will result in denial of the discount.

This service is compliments of the guides and not included in the package. Photos are taken throughout the tour and a slideshow is shown at the end of the tour. Photos are posted later in the day at gallery.arbortrek.com and on Facebook. Guests can download and share photos on Facebook free of charge, or purchase prints and electronic copies of the photos in high resolution at gallery.arbortrek.com. Guests are welcome to bring their own cameras. We recommend compact, weather-resistant digital cameras with a secure retaining strap.
