Smugglers' Notch Resort

Smugglers' Notch Resort is a destination resort in the heart of northern Vermont's Green Mountains that offers award-winning family programs and vacation packages that deliver good value. The Resort Village features mountainside condominiums, a family game and entertainment center, dining, country store, sports shop and child care center. Summer amenities include eight pools and four waterslides, hiking trails, tennis, golf driving range, skate park, and climbing wall. Winter activities include skiing and snowboarding on three mountains offering 1000 acres of terrain. Smugglers' has received local and national recognition for its environmental stewardship.

S.T.E.P.S., Inc., Zip Line and Canopy Tour Builder

S.T.E.P.S., Inc. is a leader in the development of canopy tours, adventure parks, and challenge courses in the United States. Since 2005, S.T.E.P.S. has been involved in business planning, design, installation, and development of more than 12 canopy tours, 3 racing zip rides, and dozens of challenge courses in the United States, Canada, and abroad. S.T.E.P.S. has been actively managing challenge courses since 1990 and their staff are familiar with the needs of clients both from a design and engineering perspective and from an operations standpoint. It is estimated that more than 500,000 persons have experienced canopy tours that S.T.E.P.S. helped build and train staff for between 2005 and 2010. That’s an estimated 4.5 million zip experiences and growing. We selected S.T.E.P.S. as our partner because of their focus on custom design, background in training and customer service, and extensive experience in construction. Through our relationship with S.T.E.P.S., we are excited to continue to further the industry through the testing and introduction of new techniques for attaching to trees, continued product development, and staff development systems.

AdventureSmith, Inc. is a niche web design and marketing agency focused on the needs of outdoor, adventure-based companies. In addition to print and web-based marketing systems, they have developed a series of tools and strategies to enhance our ability to serve our customers and to extend the ArborTrek experience from first contact to follow-up.
